In addition to Sunday morning worship services, a fellowship dinner is offered each Sunday following the service. Several area churches, non-profit organizations and businesses support this outreach meal. GEC provides four Sunday meals each year and involves various groups within the church to sponsor them. Additionally, snack food is collected for South Main chapel as well. Services offered during the week include on-site mental health counseling, vocational rehab counseling, nursing care, addiction recovery referrals, transportation and housing assistance and other case management services for over five hundred individuals in our community. GEC continues to provide 500 city bus tickets each month. These tickets enable people to access the city transit system so they can make appointments or get to work.
