The Anderson Emergency Soup Kitchen provides meals Monday through Friday. Saturday Servants arose from the need for meals on weekends. Several Anderson area churches take turns on Saturdays providing bag lunches that are distributed at the Anderson Emergency Soup Kitchen. For years, Grace Church parishioners have provided lunches on Saturdays in May. This involves making sandwiches at the church and distributing them at the Soup Kitchen.
