Anderson Meals on Wheels delivers more than 600 hot, nutritious meals daily to senior and disabled homebound neighbors across Anderson County. Our volunteers deliver our recipients their food, but they also greet them, interact with them and make sure they are doing okay. This warm, human interaction helps reduce the feelings of isolation for our recipients. It improves their physical and mental health and also makes them feel safe and cared for. GEC continues to have a delivery route every Monday.
