            ROCKY RIVER INVOCATION 2026

Earth Day April 22; Jack Hardaway

Father, Abba, you are the source and origin of the heavens and the earth, you created everything that is and by your will they were created and have their being.   In six days you made the very goodness of the heavens and the earth and all the fullness thereof.  We are born of the dust of this earth, she is our mother that you have given to us to care for.  You rested on the seventh day and sanctified a day of rest, inviting us to share in your Sabbath rest.  This land is at rest, this land is laying fallow and healing, restoring and flourishing and thriving more and more.  What was old and eroded is being made new again.  We thank you for this land and water of the Rocky River Conservancy, and for  the Sabbath rest that it shares with all who come here to be restored and to attend to the wonder of what thou hath wrought. We thank you for all who made this place happen, that it may be set apart, and for all those who have been given the vision of your renewed creation and who share that hope and abundance with so many.  All creation worships you and sings your praise, all the trees clap their hands, and the deep waters shout out.  Blessed are you, for you are blessing its self, and this land and this water bathe in your radiance.  Bless this day, bless these people, bless this place of Sabbath.  In the name of the Father who creates, in the name of Son who loves, and in the name of the Spirit who is life itself, Amen.
