The
Episcopal Youth Council meets every
other Sunday evening during the
school year. Open to youth from
the 6th thru the 12th grade, the
EYC provides various opportunities
for spiritual growth and FUN FUN
FUN! We take a ski trip each year,
go hiking, and do other fun stuff
like ice skating and going to movies.
Some
of the activities revolve around
fund raisers for various outreach
activities, such as annual events
like the Super Bowl Sub sale and
the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.
Our
EYC also participates in activities
at the diocesan level, many of which
take place at Bishop Gravatt Center,
our diocese's summer camp and conference
center located outside of Aiken,
South Carolina. Some of these activities
include Junior and Senior retreats
in the Fall and Spring, as well
as opportunities to attend summer
camp sessions.
